BEIRUT (Reuters) - Militias allied to the Syrian government will enter the Afrin region, Syrian media reported on Monday, after a Kurdish official said a deal had been struck with the Syrian army to help Kurdish forces end a Turkish offensive.

Turkey will ask for the USG's help because we are old friends.

Suddenly the Kurds don't seem so attractive given they were willing to jump sides so easily.

Erdogan could have gotten to this point a little faster if he had simply coordinate with us first.

Erdogan is an enemy of us now, he has burned his bridges as he goes back to the land of the mufti's. Ataturk is probably rolling in his grave as I type.
